Inclusive Day Programs

Our Day Programs promote social connections and facilitates skill development for people with disability and older people in the Snowy Monaro region.

Empower, enable, encourage

Tailored activities to engage with others in the community

Monaro Community First is committed to empower, enable and encourage individuals to live an enjoyable life. Our Day Programs provide centre-based activities which are suitable for people with disability and individuals whose primary carer has outside work commitments or is training to join the workforce.

Explore a variety of group activities designed to foster connections and build friendships within the community. Engage in community, social, and recreational activities that cater to a variety of interests and preferences. Our activities include recreational outings, creative arts, and life skills sessions to provide a well-rounded experience.

Art and music

Occurring every second week from 9am to 3pm.

Participants pay $10 each week which covers morning tea and any supplies required.

Ten pin bowling group

Taking place every second week between 9am to 3pm, participants enjoy social interactions and build coordination skills over ten pin bowling.

Social and community interaction

Operating twice weekly on Mondays from 9am to 2pm and Fridays from 8:30am to 3pm, participants foster connections and build friendships.

Men’s group

Taking place weekly on Thursdays from 9am to 2:30pm.

Recycling group

Occurring every second week from 9am to 1pm, group participants learn about what can and can’t be recycled so they can put this into practice at home.

Day respite

Currently offered four times a week from 9am to 4pm.

Morning and afternoon tea is provided.
