Support our community
Bombala Reception / Administration Part-Time (2 days a week)
We’re looking for someone who can step into our Bombala office and make things happen. You are friendly, organised and professional with the ability to build trusted relationships within the community and a genuine focus on improving outcomes for our clients. You’ll be the first point of contact for Monaro Community First in Bombala, while also supporting a wide range of administrative functions for the organisation behind the scenes. You will work closely with our Bombala Team Leader and our Cooma office to ensure the smooth day to day running of our services.
About the role
You will:
- Create a professional and welcoming environment for all clients, visitors and staff
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, staff and other stakeholders
- Handle enquiries in person, over the phone, via email – and connect people with the right services quickly and confidently
- Keep records, documentation and administration systems up to date
- Jump in to provide support across Service Delivery, HR, and Executive teams as needed
- Look for better ways of doing things, contribute ideas, and create efficiencies
About you
You’re someone who:
- Is comfortable shifting between tasks and priorities
- Can pick up new systems and processes quickly
- Can communicate and build relationships with a diverse range of people
- Has a practical, can-do attitude with the confidence to tell us how we can improve our systems and processes
To work with us, you will need to obtain the following clearances prior to employment:
- NDIS Worker Check
- Working With Children’s Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module certification of completion

Rostering and Administration Clerk (Full Time)
This role sits at the heart of our operations, providing essential rostering and administrative support to ensure people in our community receive the services they need.
You’ll work closely with our service delivery team to support the delivery of high-quality, well-coordinated care.
About the role
You will:
- Work with our service delivery team to ensure client needs are met
- Build, maintain and update staff rosters using our rostering software
- Establish and update employee availability
- Coordinate short notice shift changes, cancellations and replacements
About you
You are reliable and solutions-focused with the ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
You will bring:
- Experience in rostering, administration or scheduling (ideally within Aged Care or Disability sector)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Strong computer skills and confidence with digital tools
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Passion for providing high quality care and support to vulnerable members of the community
